When Starr was in Kindergarten, she drew a picture of herself to send to her brother Lee. It was the typical misshapen little person of a girl with a funny looking dress on and a big smile of her face.
Then she wrote her name "RRATS" - that works if you read it in a mirror. But she was 5 at the time and cute.......................so off went the letter to Lee. He told her every time he looked at that it made him sooooooooo happy he would just laugh. He still calls her RRATS occasionally.
SO "RRATS" is now 15 and a lovely young woman, she no longer writes her name backwards, she now plays the piano and flute, loves to sing, a terrific artist and potter. She is in the Womens Chorus in High School, is a student rep for the PTSA, has already earned her Young Womanhood Recognition Award and sets a good example to us all.
I thought you might like to hear some cute "girl" stories once in a while. This is a favorite one of our Starr Mamie.
