Harvest Time!!!

Don't you just love this time of year when all the vegetable and fruits are ripening! I always like finding new ways to keep up with the Food Storage thing and Canning. I have had to learn it all after I was married but I feel pretty confident now that I have been doing it for years.
The girls were impressed that we made chokecherry jelly this year. Autumn describes eating a chokecherry from the tree as having all the "spit" sucked out of your mouth. Now that doesn't create a cute mind image but it sure made me laugh. And guess what? She loves the jelly.
Bless Derwin's heart, today he finished up the tomatoes................23 more quarts! What a guy!
