Family Project

Autumn, Starr and I went shopping about 6 weeks ago to find THE PERFECT material to make a couple of baby items. A nephew and his wife are expecting twins after long years of waiting to adopt again (they already have adopted one cute little boy) however nothing was working for them. But after the miracle of invetro fertilization and SOOOOOOO much prayer from all of us, they are just about ready to welcome TWO babies into their family. A boy and a girl!!!
That's the background story.  Here is our little welcome package for these two long awaited for and prayed for babies.  They are so blessed to have Guy & Kristen as their parents.  Adam will be a wonderful big brother.
So we didn't want the traditional pink and blue, so we went with soft green and yellow.  The flannel has a cute print pattern to it that is adorable. We chose giraffes and frogs, that are gender neutral so that either Baby Girl or Baby Boy can enjoy.
This is what was created.........................................

Carrier cover with cute little handles so that the parent does not have to hold onto the blanket while keeping baby under the cover.  And a soft crib blanket, each of opposite colors.  One side yellow and the other side green.

The edge is crocheted with yellow and green.  Welcome to your wonderful family little babies and maybe we will get to know one another while on this earth!!!!
