Uninvited Guest

Eesibun (Ay - see - bun) is this critters name in Ojibwe - Raccoon in english. So now you have just had a cultural diversity lesson of the day. We have stories about eesibun that are so fun and they teach many lessons.
Sometimes we get guests at our house that we want to stay indeffinitely and some we are as happy to say goodbye as we are to see them come. Derwin had a guest yesterday that was a total surprise.
We have a deck that is designed so the trees grow right up through the deck floor itself so you have the feeling of the outdoors, you have natural shade and all that. Well yesterday Derwin went to sit out on the deck in the lawn chair and he had company - right above his head. The raccoon and he looked at each other - one was a bit frightened - Der said it was the raccoon maybe it was him. He had to call me at work so I could walk him through running the camera. Not too bad for a rookie.
He came down a bit later and walked down the stairs just like he knew what he was doing.

Well, that's a fun diversion! Jake, our animal lover, will be jealous to hear that you have a racoon as a visitor.

That beautiful. I heard it somewhere that racoons are very dangerous. Is that true?

Very cool!
