28th Annual CEDARTREE POW WOW 2009

It does have a cost - $6 General Public; $5 students w/ ID; Free for Seniors & children 8 and under.

We are going to attend and want as many of you to join us because I want to share some cultural diversity with you and your family. The kids will love seeing all the different tribal members in traditional regalia. It's a contest Pow Wow so the participants will be dressed fully and performing at their top ability. They want the prizes, but it is an opportunity to eat some traditional Indian foods, view traditional Indian arts and crafts and even purchase some if you would like.

I am actually going to send out emails and snail mail for this. This would serve as a wonderful Family Reunion to start the season off right!

Today we attended the afternoon session of the Utah State Pow Wow and here is a little clip of what you will see............I wasn't near the drum so the drumming & singing don't sound really great. But look how beautiful these young girls look as they are competing with one another in the Fancy Shawl Dance.
