Goodbye Chipper

This was a good picture to show Chipper, our dog.  We have had her since Eddy went on his mission in 2001.  She died the other day, we don't know why or from what.  She was getting up there in age but not so terribly so.  When Derwin came home from town she was in the driveway dead.  Sad day for us.  She was quite an amazing dog, extremely gentle and pretty smart.  She always wanted to be a lap dog.  She LOVED cats, I mean she was raised by cats (so Autumn says) so she was always good with them.  And what do you do with a large animal like this when it is winter and you can't dig a hole to bury them in?  We called our friend, the vet and he had a service just for that.  So we had to load her into the truck and take her to the vet's place.  Goodbye Chipper!
